My Wellbeing

There are many forms of disabilities; physical, mental, temporary, learning.  Although we support them all at Campus Wellbeing, this post is mostly to do with misconceptions.

With some people and certain disabilities, it is easier to see why they must seek support. For others, it may be a little hazier. It can be a difficult decision to seek support and come to places like Campus Wellbeing. Maybe because you don’t understand it yourself or you are afraid of being judged. Maybe you are uncomfortable with what it might mean about yourself, how it might effect the way people treat you or you don’t think people will understand. Well let me share with you a few things and hopefully dispel some of the myths surrounding disabilities.
