Have you guys heard of a world famously-known Greek mathematician and scientist called Archimedes? He is the first person that stated that the weight (Fg = Force of Gravity) of the fluid displaced by an object is equal to the buoyant force. He found out that any floating object displaces its own weight of fluid.

Buoyancy Formula: Force of Buoyancy = density of liquid × volume of liquid displaced × gravity (9.81m/s2)

Let me tell you a little bed-time story…

Once upon a time, there was a man called Archimedes, who worked as an scientist. One day, King Hiero II asked a goldsmith to make himself a golden crown, and supplied pure gold to be used.
